Advice to a son

My son
don’t sleep
Too much sleep will not do you any good
You will wake to find others gone You left Behind.

Don’t watch much soap operas for these will only turn you into stereotype and phoney
That’s where the knowledge is .

Don’t drink too much
For much booze will alienate you from your work , children and family
And raise children you will live to deny ever raised by you.

Smoking is a form of leasurely socialising agent
But too much of is a hazard to your health
Many have quited the habit
And others are still wrestling their way out
but no avail.
