Identity

Not necessarily your culture ,ethnicity or your origin
but an outstanding aspect of your personality or character that distinguishes you from everyone else
even your cultural norms or traditional customs.

Your culture is a shared aspect of your race and ethnicity
and what you believe an ancestral heritage handed down from generation to generation of your culture and ethnic group.

Your mindset, what you do and what you aspire to be is what defines you and differentiate you from the rest of the people.
That’s what I call identity.

When a Chinese man says “a fisherman with one eye”, he talking about a specific fisherman who even a stranger would be able to identify among many fishermen.

That is identity to me.

What is your definition and idea of identity?
